The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Sol Jr.
Crax blocks a head kick by Sol Jr.
Sol Jr uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Crax shoots in for a takedown but Sol Jr shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Crax connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Sol Jr momentarily.
Crax buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Sol Jr looks winded!
No joy there for Sol Jr, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Sol Jr avoids the head kick by Crax.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sol Jr doesn't manage to clinch there - Crax circles away.

Crax lands a left and a right that send Sol Jr crashing to the mat, dazed. Crax thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Sol Jr is rocked!

It looks like YB Sol Jr has been cut.
Sol Jr drops his hands momentarily. Crax doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Sol Jr staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Sol Jr doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

Rutger Crax decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

August connects with an inside leg kick.
Shady doesn't succeed with the takedown
and August counters with a thumping low kick.
Shady with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling August to score with a decent uppercut.
Shady takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Slim Shady seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
August uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
August stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and August wants it to stay on the feet.
August swings for the body but Shady moves out of range.
Shady looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

August rushes Shady and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

August drops Shady with a big knee straight up the middle! Shady is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!
August closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Shady out cold! Shady corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.

Patterson shoots in looking for a takedown but McCready manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Patterson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Patterson throws a nice looking combination but McCready bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Patterson walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Patterson misses with a straight right.
McCready tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Patterson checks a leg kick.
McCready blocks a head kick by Patterson.
McCready tries to clinch up but Patterson circles away and keeps his distance.
McCready scores with a body shot.
McCready avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
A swing and a miss from Patterson.
The fighters circle, before McCready throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Patterson's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! McCready lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
