The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Shouse cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Shouse takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Albert really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Shouse . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Shouse 's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferguson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Riley's waist but Riley gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ferguson off to one side.
Riley closes the distance and clinches up with Ferguson, looking for a takedown. Riley pushes Ferguson against the cage but Ferguson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
