The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zimmerman gets caught napping as Head dives in and scores a takedown. Zimmerman manages to retain guard.

Crack Head comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Head has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Chauhan slips under a jab.
Hope tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Chauhan swivels and escapes.
Chauhan misses the shot to the body.
Chauhan thumps Hope with a low kick.
Chauhan thows a body kick. Hope tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Chauhan scores with a nice right hand.
Hope tries to bum rush Chauhan with a series of wild strikes but Chauhan uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Chauhan fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Hope shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Chauhan sprawls well. Chauhan wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hope gets slowly back to his feet.

Love Chauhan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jonathan Hope.
Chauhan works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Chauhan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hope manages to avoid it.
Hope doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Chauhan counters with an inside leg kick.
Jonathan Hope seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hope takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Hope feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Hope drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hope jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Chauhan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
