Betoni fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and McFarlen has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

McFarlen lands a big uppercut and Betoni crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Betoni looks OK. McFarlen waves Betoni back to his feet!

It looks like Joni Betoni has been cut.
McFarlen cracks Betoni with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Betoni tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but McFarlen pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Betoni is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
