The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thoen throws a leg kick

and before Thoen can reset, Tyson rushes him with a swarm of punches, sending him crashing to the floor, in all sorts of trouble! Thoen is trying to beat the count but we're up to 6 already and he's nowhere near. 7,8... he's up! He's going to continue!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Tyson walks into a straight right hand and goes down! Thoen rushes to a neutral corner so the count doesn't get delayed but Tyson has made it back to his feet on 5. He's OK so we're back to the action.

Thoen will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Thoen scores with a jab and follows up with an uppercut that drops Tyson to his knees! He bounces straight back to his feet but is forced to take the mandatory standing 8 count before he's allowed to continue. We're back under way and the fighters meet in the middle of the canvas to re-engage.

Thoen scores a flash knockdown with a right hook that drops Tyson to his hands and knees! The ref pushes Thoen away as he looks to land an illegal blow. Tyson got an extra few seconds to recover there, which could have made all the differences as he stumbles back to his feet. The referee looks into his eyes and decides to allow the bout to continue. Can he survive?!
Thoen throws a head kick that misses.
Tyson's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Tyson tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Thoen scores with a big combo that sends Tyson crashing to the mat! He's still conscious but the referee has seen enough as Tyson flops around uncontrollably and he's called an end to the fight! Thoen jumps onto the ropes and throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Gross.

That was a close second round but I would say that Pat Barry will probably get the nod.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Barry has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Barry and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

I would just about give that final round to Spurro Sparre.
