The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hendrick leaves Conner with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Conner shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hendrick sprawls well. Hendrick wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Conner gets slowly back to his feet.
Conner takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
It looks like Steven Conner has been cut.
Conner shoots in but Hendrick avoids the takedown attempt easily.
War Hendrick has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steven Conner.

Bourne throws a leg kick but Dudley moved away.
Bourne displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dudley throws out the jab.

Bourne perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Bourne uses his free foot to push down on Dudley's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Dudley.

Bourne is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Bourne extends the arm and Dudley is forced to tap!
