The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Couture closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Sedetrano did well to prevent Couture getting side control.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Couture is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Couture has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Devin Couture.

Sedetrano catches Couture with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shouse shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bowens as he avoids it easily.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Shouse missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Bowens is looking to stand up but Shouse isn't so interested in that idea.
Shouse wants to pass the guard but Bowens is keeping the position.
Shouse is looking to advance position but Bowens has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Bowens cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

That was a close second round but I would say that Cody Bowens will probably get the nod.
