I think Agu might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Feel The Pain - Dinosaur Jr. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Bill Gunderson was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Gunderson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Agu sprawls well. Agu wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gunderson gets slowly back to his feet.
Gunderson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Agu tries to avoid it but Gunderson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Agu to the ground. Agu escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Gunderson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Agu darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Gunderson's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Agu before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.

Orlan misses with a low kick as ODonnell jumps back.

ODonnell throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Orlan was covering up waiting for the punch and ODonnell finishes the takedown easily into guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Thomas walks straight into a right hand from Adams - that's dropped him! Adams jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! Thomas complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ryback throws a strike aimed at the side of Christopher's head but Christopher avoids it well.

Ryback tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Ryback has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Ryback cracks Christopher with an elbow. That is naaassty.

Ryback working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Ryback is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Ryback is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Christopher has escaped the position, nice work there.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Leonard Christopher.
I think Christopher has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robertson falls off balance throwing a combination
enabling Miller to counter with a crisp jab.

It looks like Robbie Robertson has been cut.
Robertson uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Miller.
Robertson misses with a left hand
and Miller counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
A telegraphed right hand from Miller misses the target.
Robertson moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Miller looks to score with a jab to the body but Robertson is just out of range.
Miller punishes Robertson's body with a nice straight punch.
Miller works Robertson's body with a nice hook.
Robertson has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Robertson there as he acknowledges the shot.
Miller will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Robertson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Robertson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Robertson takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
A head kick misses from Robertson.
Robbie Robertson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Miller digs a good hook to Robertson's body.
Robertson is breathing heavily.

Miller cracks Robertson with an uppercut from hell and Robertson crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Miller's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

Robertson is rocked!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Miller loads up on a big left hand. Robertson felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Miller looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Robertson can't hide his disappointment, as Miller celebrates the victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Neil Miller!
Neil Miller very nearly forgot to thank CEC Nutrition Q160 amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
