The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bishop tried to score with a low kick but Torres checks it.

Torres throws a lazy right hand but Bishop sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Bishop takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Bishop jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Torres walks away with a smile on his face. Bishop gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Torres manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bishop manages to get himself to full guard.

Torres wants to get up but he can't break Bishop's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
