Hill tries to clinch up.
Bird throws a head kick that half lands.
DoDo Bird seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bird lands a nice looking kick to the body. Hill takes a step back to recover.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Bird throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Bird throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Hill.
Bird swats away the attempt to clinch by Hill.
Bird cracks Hill with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Hill shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Bird is trying to defend but Hill finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Bird catches Hill with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A head kick by Bird - that's a beauty! Hill is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Bird can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jigfu Cambrona (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Varshik Gerich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Cambrona might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Big Bad Wolf. The crowd seem to be enjoying Gerich's choice of entrance music: Drugwhore. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.
