Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jet Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nicanor Reyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Li kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Tourniquet by Evanescence. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A chopping leg kick lands by Li.
Reyes wants to clinch up but Li keeps it at a distance.
Reyes tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Reyes on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Reyes wants to clinch but Li slips to the side
and Li makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Reyes misses with a few strikes there.
Li with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Li lands a nice leg kick that just misses Reyes's sensitive parts.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Li.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The fighters circling - Li throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Li lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Reyes takes a head kick and keeps coming.
An inside leg kick lands from Li.
Reyes has a takedown stuffed.
Reyes looks winded!
Li connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Li throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Li misses with a head kick.
Reyes moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Li throws a head kick that misses.
Reyes keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Reyes crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Li - the referee stops the clock and Reyes gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Li. Reyes manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
No luck for Reyes with that takedown attempt.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The fighters circle, before Li throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Reyes's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Li lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Jet Li!
Jet Li spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.

Poirier feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Kickasschenkov sprawling to the canvas! Kickasschenkov rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Poirier finish him?!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kickasschenkov lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Poirier circles away quickly and effectively.

Kickasschenkov tries to get into range but Poirier steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Kickasschenkov! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Poirier scores the big KO victory!

Bertoto is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Zhu defends well.
Chong Zhu has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Zhu throws a strike aimed at the side of Bertoto's head but Bertoto avoids it well.
Bertoto is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Zhu off and has taken his back!
