The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strongback scores with a jab.

Strongback gets tackled into the cage by Ushijima. Ushijima maintains the clinch.
Ushijima is trying to push Strongback away but Strongback has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Strongback blocks a body shot from Ushijima.

Ushijima breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Strongback lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Strongback.

It looks like Buffalo Ushijima has been cut.

Ushijima drives through and clinches with Strongback against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Strongback drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

and Batungbakal connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Batungbakal looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Batungbakal backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Assis's temple! It sends Assis violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Batungbakal celebrates and the doctors try to help Assis!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Oh Minowa is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Minowa takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Minowa looks up at the clock. Bad move! Kokin lands a right hand from hell, dropping Minowa. Kokin pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
