The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Oliveira clinches.

Sorrowe escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Oliveira moves to clinch but Sorrowe breaks away
letting Sorrowe counter with a right hand.
Oliveira tries to clinch
and Sorrowe connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Sorrowe bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Oliveira's head backwards.
Sorrowe scores with a hook to the body. Oliveira takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

and Sorrowe counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Sorrowe. Oliveira does a little dance to reset his feet.

Sorrowe must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

I think Margera might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to ILL MIND OF HOPSIN 5. The crowd seem to be enjoying Jones's choice of entrance music: Weapon of Choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.
