The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz fakes the leg kick and cracks Billy in the body.
Diaz goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Diaz throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Billy's head.
Billy throws a head kick but Diaz moves out of range.
Billy tries to clinch there but Diaz circles away.
Diaz feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Billy's calf.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Billy throws a push kick but Diaz slaps the foot to one side.

Billy throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Diaz tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Billy is in Diaz's guard.

Billy tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Billy throws the kick towards the body but Diaz avoids it.
Diaz doesn't manage to clinch there - Billy circles away.
Billy tries to close the distance and clinch but Diaz swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Billy fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Diaz manages to avoid it.

Diaz lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Diaz fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Billy has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Billy shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The referee warns Diaz that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Billy cracks Diaz with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

That was a close round but I would say that Bill Billy will probably get the nod.

Billy seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Diaz for as long as he can get away with.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Billy connects with a nice short shot to Diaz's temple.

Lesnar lands a big head kick that sends Martins tumbling to the mat! Lesnar takes a step backwards and waves Martins back to his feet - he wants the finish!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Martins tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lesnar swivels and escapes.
Martins scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Martins throws a shot from downtown. Lesnar moves away and avoids it.
Both fighters circling a little - Lesnar finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

The fighters circle momentarily. Lesnar darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Lesnar thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Martins if he has to take too many more of those.
Martins drops his hands momentarily and Lesnar takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Lesnar misses with a few strikes there.
Lesnar tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Lesnar escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Lesnar drops Martins with a beautiful combination! Martins stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Lesnar is looking for the KO!

Lesnar lands a nice leg kick that just misses Martins's sensitive parts.
Martins is still on wobbly legs! Can Lesnar finish him?
Martins takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Lesnar circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Martins drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Lesnar follows Martins to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
