Warmaster lands a vicious elbow to the side of Diaz's head that scrambles his senses and sends him wobbling down to the canvas! Warmaster tries to finish him with strikes but Diaz still seems able to defend himself so Warmaster steps back and lets Diaz get back to his feet - he wants no part of the ground game.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Warmaster throws 2 knees - Diaz can't escape Warmaster's clinch. As Diaz tries to escape again Warmaster whips his head left to meet with another knee! That's knocked out Diaz's gum shield and as Diaz falls to the floor, the referee steps in to end the fight!

Mendes has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Rector has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Rector is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Mendes gets his way!
