Balls really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Ko scores with a jab. Balls acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Huge Balls seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ko moves forwards but Balls connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Balls checks a leg kick.

Ko ducks under a wild hook from Balls.

and Balls counters with a one-two to the body.

Ko dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Balls. That did some damage!

Ko lands with a straight right. Balls didn't see that one coming.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ko throws a leg kick but Balls sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Ko lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Balls has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Balls and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Oooooh!!! Ko has knocked Balls down with a huge combo! Ko steps away and waves a wobbly Balls back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Ko throws a right and a left that Balls avoids nicely.
Oh Balls is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ko pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ko finds Balls's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Balls flops back against the ropes, eyes gazing into the distance. Ko lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Balls will be OK.

A close third round but Dominick Cruz just about did enough to take it.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


On bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Cruz's head.

Cruz walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ilya On.

Bill throws a solid leg kick but Spar takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Bill.
Spar throws a looping overhand right but Bill ducks down to avoid it.
Bill loads up on a big right hand but Spar slips the punch.

Spar has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Bill.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Bill takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Spar throws a good cross that connects.
Bill throws a hook but Spar blocks it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Spar throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Spar moves out of range of the strikes.
Spar swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Spar is looking to clinch but Bill is avoiding it.
Spar lands with a straight right. Bill didn't see that one coming.

Spar scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

The fight stays on the outside here - Spar looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Bill throws a big shot that misses.
Bill lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Spar wants to clinch but Bill slips to the side

and Bill counters with a crisp one two that drops Spar! Bill thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Spar to his feet! Spar is in big trouble!

A chopping leg kick lands by Spar.
Spar is still on wobbly legs! Can Bill finish him?
Spar throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Bill counters with an outside leg kick.
Bill fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Spar out cold! Brutal finish!

Buffalo Bill is the new heavyweight champion!
A relieved looking Buffalo Bill thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
