Bigalow tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Cruz swivels and escapes.
Cruz swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bigalow is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
A left and a right from Cruz both land. Nice combination.

It looks like Deuce Bigalow has been cut.

and Bigalow counters with a nice uppercut.
Bigalow shoots in and drives through. Cruz sprawls well.
A clash of legs there as Bigalow blocks the low kick.

The crowd cheers as Cruz lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bigalow doesn't seem phased though.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bigalow shoots in looking for a takedown but Cruz manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bigalow's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Cruz ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Bigalow's jaw. Bigalow's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Cruz does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Rashad Evans was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Anton Skydny.
