It sends Hommer violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Christianson celebrates and the doctors try to help Hommer!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Grabowski closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

This has been an exciting period of action!
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Grabowski connects with a nice short shot to Dog's temple.

Dog is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Grabowski is in close to Dog's body, working some short punches and elbows.
