Diablo fails with the takedown

and Michalski counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Diablo is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Diablo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Michalski gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Michalski got a little sloppy there for a moment and Diablo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Michalski has managed to get both his arms back between Diablo's legs - danger averted.

and Krios counters with a huge left! Silva is in big trouble! He's backing up but Krios isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Silva from any more damage. A dominating finish by Krios!

Thane Krios tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.

I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Marcel Muller was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

James tests Muller's chin there with a solid looking shot.

It looks like Marcel Muller has been cut.
Muller misses with a head kick.
Muller throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
James will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Muller clinches up against the cage.
James tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Muller just stands there and leans against the cage.
James drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
James tries for a takedown but Muller manages to get underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Benny James. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Muller prevents James from breaking the clinch.
James is working for takedown but Muller is calmly controlling the position for now.
James tries to break free but Muller pushes him back against the cage.
Muller manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
James changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Muller fights it off and pushes away nicely.

James gets tackled into the cage by Muller. Muller maintains the clinch.
Muller is defending well against a takedown attempt.
James tries for a takedown. No joy.
Muller digs a right hand into James's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on James's gas tank.
James has had enough of the clinch but Muller keeps him there for the moment.
James goes for a takedown attempt but Muller pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
James is breathing heavily.

Muller drops James with a beautiful combination! James stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Muller is looking for the KO!

It looks like Benny James has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Muller, right into the meat.
Muller lands a really nice looking cross but James seems unphased.
James loses concentration momentarily and Muller pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! James crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Muller finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.

Escargesa ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Roman moves into range and clinches up with Escargesa.
Nice body punch from Escargesa - that landed with a thud.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Escargesa is on top in guard.

Roman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Escargesa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Roman can't hide his disappointment, as Escargesa celebrates the victory.

Garfunkel fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Garfunkel closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Garfunkel moves nicely into side control.
Garfunkel misses with the ground and pound.
Garfunkel fails to land a wild elbow strike.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Garfunkel creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Tyson sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Garfunkel lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Tyson down.

Garfunkel scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Tyson to see if he's OK.

Garfunkel lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Tyson down.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Salciak. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
A left and a right from Khalidov both land. Nice combination.
Oh Salciak is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Salciak tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Khalidov swivels and escapes.
Salciak changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Khalidov tries to avoid it but Salciak manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Khalidov to the ground. Khalidov escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Khalidov scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Khalidov cracks Salciak with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Salciak tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Khalidov pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Salciak is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

and Da Souza cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Oy is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Da Souza.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Da Souza pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Oy back to the cage. Da Souza follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Da Souza throws a one two combo.
Da Souza fails to land with a series of punches.
Da Souza throws a right hand that Oy ducks under and follows up with a left that Oy also avoids with ease.
Oy doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Da Souza counters with a single leg into guard. Oy didn't expect that.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Da Souza postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Da Souza in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Oy is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Da Souza rolls with it to try and escape but Oy cranks on the arm and Da Souza is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Belt has instead reached around Roberts's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Belt arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
