The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanders takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

It looks like Jackson Sanders has been cut.

Sanders feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Benoit wants to sweep here but Sanders controlling him for the moment.
Sanders wants to control from the top but Benoit keeps moving.
Sanders lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Sanders postures up in Benoit's guard and throws a big left but Benoit blocks it.
Benoit bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Sanders's guard.

With the fighters up against the cage, Myers throws an elbow but misses.

Black escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Black shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Mctanned drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Anaconda looking for a guillotine here but Mctanned defends easily.
Mctanned wants to pass the guard but Anaconda is keeping the position.
Mctanned sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Anaconda's guard.
Mctanned is nestled in close to Anaconda, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mctanned looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Mctanned thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Mctanned lands a big shot there that rocks Anaconda but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Mctanned has hold of Anaconda's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Anaconda manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Mctanned is looking to work his way around to Anaconda's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.

and Asylum counters with a crisp one two that drops Williams! Asylum thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Williams to his feet! Williams is in big trouble!

Williams on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Aiden Asylum is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Williams throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Asylum's waist but Asylum gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Williams off to one side.
Jackson Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Asylum bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Williams's head backwards.
Asylum thows a body shot but no joy.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Asylum.
Jab, jab by Asylum - just one landing.
Asylum slips a jab from Williams.
Williams fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Asylum manages to avoid it.
Aiden Asylum is winning the standup battle so far.
Asylum moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Williams might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Asylum has got the better of the exchanges.

Asylum is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Williams can do to turn this around?

Asylum is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Asylum, as that shot connected.

Asylum catches Williams with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Asylum steps in with a hook that catches Williams right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Asylum follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Williams looks absolutely devastated.

The fighters circling - Crimson throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Carbone closes the distance looking to clinch
and Crimson counters with a lovely straight right hand!

and Crimson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Carbone steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Crimson.
Crimson lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
A swing and a miss from Crimson.
Crimson lands a jab.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Carbone crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Crimson - the referee stops the clock and Carbone gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Crimson. Carbone manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Carbone chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Crimson can pounce on him.
Dick Carbone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Crimson counters with a nice right hand that sends Carbone toppling to the canvas! Carbone scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Crimson finish him?!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Carbone avoids a punch combination nicely.
Oh Carbone is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Crimson misses with a looping left.
Carbone seems to have got his legs back now.
Crimson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Carbone looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Carbone tries to close the distance and clinch up but Crimson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Carbone gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Crimson counters with a low kick, right behind Carbone 's knee.
Carbone walks forward, straight into a front kick from Crimson.
A big right from Crimson misses.

Crimson cracks Carbone with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Carbone looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Crimson finish him?
Crimson drops Carbone with a huge uppercut! Carbone drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Crimson is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Bones lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Annunaki has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Annunaki and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Bones crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Annunaki - the referee stops the clock and Bones gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Annunaki. Bones manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
