The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whyte tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Rogers makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Rogers dives in and grabs Whyte's left leg, looking for a takedown. Whyte pushes down on Rogers's head and hops out.
Frank Whyte seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Horrible takedown by Rogers or perhaps it was just good defense by Whyte which made him look bad.

It looks like Frank Whyte has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Whyte tries to clinch up but Rogers circles away and keeps his distance.

A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

Lange throws a low kick but it's checked well by Blackbunr.
Lange motions for Blackbunr to come forward. Lange throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Lange shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Blackbunr tries to roll over but Lange keeps him under control.
Lange wants to get back to his feet.

Lange stands up out of the half guard.
Lange is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Blackbunr connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Lange's hands.

Lange drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Blackbunr manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Lange has Blackbunr in his guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Eije Blackbunr will probably get the nod.
