Hess closes the distance looking to clinch

Hess tries to break the clinch but Doestevsky is controlling the position.

Doestevsky pushes Hess off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Hess enables Doestevsky to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Hess manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Hess shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Hess was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Hess jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Doestevsky is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Doestevsky and Hess has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Hess is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Hess looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Samuel Doestevsky comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Doestevsky has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Sloppy strikes from Butane. Those never looked like landing.
Butane works over Kenny's head and body with a nice combination.
Butane looks to land a combination but Kenny avoids it well.
Kenny tries to clinch there but Butane circles away.
Kenny shoots in for a double leg but Butane sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Some wild striking there from Butane.
Butane misses with the combination.
Kenny really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Butane throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kenny.
No joy there for Butane, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Kenny shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Butane's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Kenny drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Kenny as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Butane screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Kenny! Nice submission victory there!
