Kong looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Kong misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Sakamoto stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Kong really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Sakamoto is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Kong knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sakamoto on the ground.
You can see the frustration on Kong's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Puyol takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Griffiths fails in his attempt to clinch.

Smith throws a right and a left that fu avoids nicely.
fu changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Smith tries to avoid it but fu manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Smith to the ground. Smith escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
fu shoots in but no luck this time.
No luck with that takedown attempt from fu.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for chris fu. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Smith takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Smith is looking to clinch but fu is avoiding it.
fu swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Smith counters with a low kick, right behind fu 's knee.
fu swats away the attempt to clinch by Smith.
Smith throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
fu looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Smith is fending him off so far but fu persists. Nope, Smith circles away and we're back to standing.
fu throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Smith's waist but Smith gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing fu off to one side.
fu closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Smith feints and then cracks fu's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow fu down.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

homayed drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Luongo manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now homayed has Luongo in his guard.
Luongo passes homayed's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Luongo is looking for a kimura but homayed is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Luongo to get the leverage.

Luongo is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. homayed doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Luongo.
