Alves lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Alves postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Repullo to stand up.
Alves Throws a clean left jab. Alves Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Repullo's chin! Repullo crumbles to the ground and Alves follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Alves!

Elazer on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Elazer misses with a hook. Shanks ducked under it nicely.
Elazer scores with a hook to the body. Shanks takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Elazer throws a poor cross that misses
and Shanks counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Elazer thows a left - swing and a miss!
Elazer throws a looping overhand right but Shanks ducks down to avoid it.
Shanks takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Elazer crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Shanks - the referee stops the clock and Elazer gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Shanks. Elazer manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
