Well Shanks has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koyo throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Salaam throws a body punch but Koyo moves out of range.
Musashimaru Koyo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Koyo blocks a head kick by Salaam.
Salaam swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Good leg kick by Koyo there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Salaam tries to bum rush Koyo with a series of wild strikes but Koyo uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Koyo moves into the clinch successfully.
Koyo is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Salaam looks gassed!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Koyo lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Salaam backwards.
It looks like Geiger Salaam has been cut.
Koyo lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Koyo lands a hook to the side of the head.
Koyo misses with an elbow strike.
Koyo lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Salaam to his knees! Koyo keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
