Sparks throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Carter has his hands clasped together but Sparks breaks the hold and Carter is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Sparks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li avoids the body shot from Shanks.
A shot to the liver by Shanks. Beautiful body shot.
Li fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Shanks avoids it really well and circles away.
Shanks misses with a body shot.
Shanks tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Li was well out of range. Poor timing from Shanks.

Shanks throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Li tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Shanks is in Li's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Shanks postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Li is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Shanks, into his guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Well Shanks has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Jackson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but White circles away quickly and effectively.
Jackson stalks White and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into White's face. White staggers backwards, shaken.

It looks like Adam White has been cut.
White shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jackson but Jackson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
