Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Blatt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Simpson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blatt's entrance music is you're going down- sick puppies. A fine choice. Simpson has chosen Devil on My Shoulder as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Simpson shoots in looking for a takedown. Blatt tries to sprawl out of it but Simpson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Blatt manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jeff Blatt will probably get the nod.

House scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

It looks like Charles Bennett has been cut.

House ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
House tries to bum rush Bennett with a series of wild strikes but Bennett uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
House fails to land with a series of punches.
House will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

I think Menezes might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Charlinho, o menino que só queria estudar - Hermes & Renato. The crowd seem to be enjoying Muroi's choice of entrance music: Get Out - Circa Survive. On his way into the cage it seems that Charles Menezes has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Charles Menezes seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

TJ O Brian is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Santos seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down O Brian for as long as he can get away with.

Santos remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
