The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gracie as he jumps to the side.
Gracie throws a right and a left that both miss.
Hunt lands a nice leg kick that just misses Gracie's sensitive parts.
Gracie tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hunt paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Hunt fails with an attempt to clinch.
Hunt stuffs the takedown.

Hunt shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Hunt punching from mount but Gracie doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Gracie is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Staunton tries a head kick but it misses.
Frank Trig seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Trig drives through and clinches with Staunton against the cage.
Trig jumps guard but Staunton stands there with Trig around his waist. Trig gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Trig manages to break the clinch.
Left hook, right uppercut from Trig.
Trig fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Staunton with a lazy takedown attempt
and Trig makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Staunton really felt that one!

Trig changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Staunton looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Staunton tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
You can see the frustration on Staunton's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Trig passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Staunton!
Trig in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

The referee warns Staunton that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Trig takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Poor strikes thrown by Trig there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Trig is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Trig extends the arm and Staunton is forced to tap!

Moses closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Slice's guard.

Slice is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Denton tests Alexander's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Brutal finish.

Magakian throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Moorehead.
Magakian shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Moorehead as he avoids it easily.
Moorehead fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Magakian.
Moorehead connects with a body shot that sends Magakian's belly button to the back.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Moorehead wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Moorehead with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Moorehead swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Magakian.

Moorehead throws a monster overhand right that drops Magakian! Moorehead follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
