The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gusmero darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Good standup being displayed there by Gusmero as he connects with a hook.

Gusmero closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jones to the mat! Jones manages to get full guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Jones wants to sweep but no luck.
Jones utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Gusmero works over Jones with some ground and pound from guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Gusmero sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Jones's guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Gusmero lands a nice short elbow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gusmero passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Jones!
Gusmero softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Jones is out cold! Gusmero jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
