Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Taylor Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Fighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Griffin comes to the cage accompanied by Champions. Taylor Griffin had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 186.6lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Fighter weaves into range and cracks Griffin right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Griffin goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Fighter is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.

Eachuryno looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Davis!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Eachuryno looking to ground and pound but Davis is blocking nicely.

Eachuryno stands up from mount. Strange move.

Davis feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Eachuryno can't keep his opponent in guard - Davis advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Davis is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Eachuryno pushes Davis off looking to stand but Davis dives back in and keeps control.

Eachuryno got a little sloppy there for a moment and Davis has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Eachuryno has managed to get both his arms back between Davis's legs - danger averted.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Eachuryno accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Eachuryno is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Davis is just riding it out for now. Eachuryno eventually gives up the hold.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Eachuryno enables Davis to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Eachuryno manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Ozawa throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Ozawa is still on wobbly legs! Can Velazquez finish him?
Velazquez goes for a small jab and connects. Now Velazquez goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Ozawa stumbles back but Velazquez runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Ozawa to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Ozawa will ever be the same after a knockout like that.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Ari Velazquez!
A very excited looking Ari Velazquez made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
