Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dwight Grant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Genovese (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grant comes to the cage accompanied by Beanie (Mack B****). Genovese has chosen Kick-Ass: Music Soundtrack as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGuire smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

It looks like Thiago De Santos has been cut.
McGuire thows a body shot but no joy.
De Santos tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
The fighters circling - McGuire throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Good work by De Santos as he checks the leg kick.
De Santos tries to clinch but McGuire moves away
and McGuire counters with a lovely shot to the body.
De Santos shoots in looking for a takedown but McGuire manages to keep the fight standing, pushing De Santos's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McGuire misses the jab.
McGuire shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. De Santos eats them both and turns towards McGuire to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from McGuire, right into the meat.
Jab, jab by De Santos - just one landing.
McGuire goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
McGuire paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

That's one minute gone in the round.
De Santos moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

That has opened up Thiago De Santos's cut even more.
McGuire pivots, looking for a leg kick but De Santos is out of range and McGuire settles back down.
McGuire misses with a hook. De Santos ducked under it nicely.

De Santos clinches.
McGuire lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down De Santos.
De Santos looks gassed!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
De Santos tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. McGuire just stands there and leans against the cage.

McGuire manages to break the clinch.
De Santos uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McGuire.
McGuire throws out a loose jab but De Santos uses good head movement to avoid it.
McGuire buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
De Santos on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
McGuire throws a front kick aimed at De Santos's knee but De Santos avoids it well.
De Santos takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

McGuire cracks De Santos with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! De Santos looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can McGuire finish him?

De Santos is rocked!

The cut above Thiago De Santos's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
McGuire steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! De Santos is out on his feet! McGuire sets himself and nearly takes De Santos's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!

Ralph McGuire really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Milwaukee's Best 160 SALE $150 logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
