The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Cole enables Blaze to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Cole manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Blaze looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Blaze wants to control from the top but Cole keeps moving.
Blaze has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Cole lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Blaze!

Blaze is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Cole can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Blaze is looking to escape.

James lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Mack quite badly. Mack pulls James in close trying to recover. James postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Mack on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Mack doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Alfa has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Alfa is squeezing on Trent like an anaconda would it's prey. Trent fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

That was a close second round but I would say that Lucifer Jones will probably get the nod.

Jones stuffs the takedown attempt from Lee. Lee gets slowly back to his feet.

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randy Orton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mansur Abdel Salam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Orton kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is BOOM by P.O.D.. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Orton feints a jab promting Abdel Salam to slip. Orton then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Abdel Salam slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Abdel Salam cracks Orton with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Abdel Salam has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Orton to stand back up!

A big right followed by a crushing left from Abdel Salam knocks Orton out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
