The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baggins misses the shot to the body.

Baggins fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Singh to the ground. Baggins is now in Singh's guard.
Baggins trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Baggins in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Baggins might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Baggins wants to pass the guard but Singh is keeping the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Baggins has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Singh prevents Baggins from improving position.

Baggins has hold of Singh's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Singh tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Baggins cranks the arm and Singh screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Singh, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Tali moves into range and clinches up with McCauley.
McCauley is trying to break free.
McCauley looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
McCauley stops a takedown attempt from Tali.
McCauley doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Tali jumps guard and drags McCauley to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Tali escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. McCauley gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Tali wants to sweep here but McCauley controlling him for the moment.

Tali had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. McCauley defends it easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McCauley trying to control but Tali is working from the bottom.
McCauley really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tali. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Serraty swings for the body but Blackchicks moves out of range.
Serraty looks to score with a jab to the body but Blackchicks is just out of range.
Serraty chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Blackchicks can pounce on him.

Blackchicks throws a head kick but Serraty moves out of range.
Blackchicks connects with an inside leg kick.
Blackchicks tries to score a power double leg takedown but Serraty sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Blackchicks somewhat.

McFly pivots, looking for a leg kick but Richards is out of range and McFly settles back down.
McFly uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Richards.
Richards throws a lazy right hand but McFly sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Good leg kick by McFly there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
McFly stuffs the takedown attempt from Richards. Richards gets slowly back to his feet.
McFly steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Richards.
A clash of legs there as McFly blocks the low kick.

Rex Richards seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

McFly fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Richards.
Richards misses with a few strikes there.

A decent looking body kick lands there for McFly.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Bubba McFly has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rex Richards.

McFly throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Richards stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

McFly stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and McFly wants it to stay on the feet.
Nice uppercut lands for McFly. That snapped Richards's head back.

McFly working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Hungus throws a nice looking combination but Ico bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Hungus manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Ico on his heels. He'll look to pass Ico's guard now, I'm sure.
