Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jim Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sheer Bum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller throws a leg kick but Bum sees it coming and moves out of range.
Bum with a poor takedown

and Miller counters with a nice double leg into side control. Bum won't be happy with that.
Miller controls the position from side control.
Miller scores with a couple of short elbows.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bum takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Miller is trying to get an arm triangle but Bum is defending well.

Miller is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bum knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Bum doesn't manage to clinch there - Sanchez circles away.

Sanchez throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bum was covering up waiting for the punch and Sanchez finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Li has hold of Lashley's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Lashley manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Li goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Lashley is on top in guard.

Lashley will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie shoots and misses
and Fertus counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Gracie thinking.
Gracie closes the distance but Fertus moves to the side
and Fertus counters with a two punch combo.
Rousimar Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gracie gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Fertus counters with a nice right hand that sends Gracie toppling to the canvas! Gracie scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Fertus finish him?!

Gracie is rocked!

It looks like Rousimar Gracie has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
