The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wayne tries for a takedown but Tankard circles away easily
and Tankard counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

It looks like John Wayne has been cut.

Wayne ducks straight into an uppercut from Tankard and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Wayne manages to regain guard straight away.

Hansen avoids the body shot from Kuristaja.
Hansen tries to clinch but Kuristaja moves out of range.

It looks like Harrison Hansen has been cut.
Hansen shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kuristaja defends it nicely.

Kuristaja knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hansen on the ground.
Hansen throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kuristaja works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Hansen drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Kuristaja manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Hansen has Kuristaja in his guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Hansen is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Kuristaja rolls with it to try and escape but Hansen cranks on the arm and Kuristaja is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
