Lecter is pressed up against the cage. Botwin has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Lecter down to the mat. Lecter avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Botwin throws a hook but Lecter avoids it easily.
Lecter tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Botwin has had enough of the clinch but Lecter keeps him there for the moment.

Lecter chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Botwin can pounce on him.

Botwin closes the distance and pushes Lecter back into the cage.

No luck for Botwin with that takedown attempt.
Botwin thuds his right hand into Lecter's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Lecter wants to clinch up but Botwin keeps it at a distance.
Some bone on bone action there as Botwin checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Botwin fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Lecter has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Botwin takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Lecter wants to control but Botwin is keeping busy.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Botwin has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Botwin manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Lecter manages to get himself to full guard.

Botwin got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lecter has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Botwin has managed to get both his arms back between Lecter's legs - danger averted.
Botwin seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Well Botwin has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
