The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shanks lets loose with a powerful body kick. Greiy will feel that in the morning.
Greiy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Shanks's waist but Shanks gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Greiy off to one side.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Shanks.

Shanks lands a big head kick that sends Greiy tumbling to the mat! Shanks takes a step backwards and waves Greiy back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Greiy is rocked!

It looks like Andrei Greiy has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Shanks throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Greiy is still on wobbly legs! Can Shanks finish him?
Greiy looks gassed!
Shanks seems to be stalking Greiy here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Greiy drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!

Purple Haired Shanks tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pulvera throws a powerful right kick. Love tried to block low but the kick was high! Love was taken right off of his feet! Pulvera jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!

Perez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. D Ace tries to avoid it but Perez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag D Ace to the ground. D Ace escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
D Ace throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

It looks like Blake Perez has been cut.
Nice body kick from D Ace.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
D Ace lands a nice looking body kick.

D Ace lands with a kick to the temple. Perez shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from D Ace! Perez is out on his feet! D Ace rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Perez is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Perez is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

Sagat has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Earth Jr is really squeezing tight and eventually Sagat passes out! Earth Jr breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

In his post fight interview, Father Earth Jr started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
