Duggan is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Todd screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Jackson lands with a hook. Maia tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
A lazy left from Jackson finds it's target.
Maia misses with a takedown attempt
and Jackson counters with a stiff right hand.

Jackson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Maia feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Roy shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Pelkko eats them both and turns towards Roy to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Roy is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Pelkko can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Pelkko sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Roy uses his free foot to push down on Pelkko's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Pelkko.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Roy is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Pelkko to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Pelkko shrugs it off.

Well Roy has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
