The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chiellini throws a chopping leg kick but Trutka manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Chiellini instigates a clinch.

Chiellini drags the fight down to the ground.
Trutka wants to stand and escape but instead Chiellini has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Chiellini lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Trutka moves into the clinch.

Chiellini has Trutka pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Chiellini pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Trutka tumbling to the mat - Chiellini dives into Trutka's guard.

and Freeman counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in King's guard now.
Freeman missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Freeman throws an elbow that misses. King uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Freeman's guard. Nice move by King!

Freeman is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. King is aware though and is defending well.

King drops back looking for a leg! Freeman is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Freeman manages to kick King off! King jumps back into Freeman's guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

King has hold of Freeman's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Freeman tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - King cranks the arm and Freeman screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Freeman, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mario Balotelli.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Balotelli, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Adam is trying to drag Jerk to the mat but Jerk just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Jigoro Kane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kane is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Fangyu's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
Kane swings away with a leg kick that misses.

and Fangyu counters with a nice uppercut.

It looks like Jigoro Kane has been cut.
Fangyu throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Fangyu takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Fangyu.
Kane just misses with a punch to the body.
Kane throws a head kick but Fangyu moves out of range.
Kane throws a leg kick but Fangyu moved away.
Fangyu connects with a right hand. Kane shakes it off.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fangyu takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Kane throws a shot from downtown. Fangyu moves away and avoids it.
Fangyu throws a looping overhand right but Kane ducks down to avoid it.
Fangyu uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kane.
Fangyu walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Kane cracks Fangyu with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Fangyu is rocked!
Kane swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Kane avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kane lands a nice hook to Fangyu's body. Fangyu takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Kane dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Fangyu. That did some damage!
Fangyu is looking to chop away at Kane's legs.
Fangyu staying out of range there.
Fangyu takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Kane throws a body punch but Fangyu moves out of range.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Fangyu will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Fangyu lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Kane feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Fangyu sprawling to the canvas! Fangyu rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Kane finish him?!
Fangyu is still on wobbly legs! Can Kane finish him?
Fangyu is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Kane doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Fangyu crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Fangyu's bad books for that mishap!
