The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guansing stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Guansing wants it to stay on the feet.
Bailey blocks a jab.

Bailey shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Guansing's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lanastar connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Embo's hands.
Lanastar missing with a left hand there. Embo was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Embo tries to clinch up but Lanastar circles away and keeps his distance.
Nice sprawl there from Lanastar as Embo shoots in.
Embo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lanastar tries to avoid it but Embo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lanastar to the ground. Lanastar escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Askren shoots in looking for a takedown. Jackson tries to sprawl out of it but Askren keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jackson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Askren closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Jackson did well to prevent Askren getting side control.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Jackson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Jackson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Jackson fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Askren has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Look low, kick high! Jackson uses the oldest trick in the book to send Askren tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Jackson is absolutely delighted - when Askren wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!

Wuopio throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Alliteration.
Wuopio lands a nice looking body shot.

Alliteration closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Wuopio did well to prevent Alliteration getting side control.

Wuopio has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Alliteration. Oh but Wuopio has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Alliteration goes limp - he's gone! Wuopio jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
