Green decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Pap does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Rajesh Koothrappali seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Koothrappali looks to land a combination. Kulinenko sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Kulinenko avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Koothrappali misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kulinenko takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
A nice leg kick lands there from Koothrappali.
Kulinenko avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Kulinenko feints and as Koothrappali raises his hands in defense, Kulinenko changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Kulinenko has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Koothrappali to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Kulinenko is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Koothrappali pulls down on the head and he's put Kulinenko to sleep! This one is all over!

Basra throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Jones misses with a jab, cross combination.
Jones drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Jones seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Basra shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Jones is backing up but Basra catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Jones covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Basra Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

Ishikawa drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Ishikawa seems to have locked his on tight now - Scott screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Ishikawa, as he picks up the win!
