Horrible takedown by Boyka or perhaps it was just good defense by Havok which made him look bad.
Reek Havok seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boyka walks straight into a right hand from Havok - that's dropped him! Havok jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Boyka from any more punishment! Boyka complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Schmidt shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Borg Jr defends it nicely.

Oooooh!!! Borg Jr has knocked Schmidt down with a huge combo! Borg Jr steps away and waves a wobbly Schmidt back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Magnus Schmidt has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Borg Jr connects with a nice cross there... Schmidt is looking wobbly and Borg Jr recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Schmidt to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Borg Jr jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!

Down with a poor takedown

and Jan counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Jan is looking to advance position but Down won't allow it.

Jan is working for a kimura but Down is defending it quite comfortably.

Jan stands up from half guard.
Jan throws a right hand that Down ducks under and follows up with a left that Down also avoids with ease.
Down misses with a jab, cross combination.
Down feints a jab promting Jan to slip. Down then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Jan slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Chomley tries to close the distance and clinch but Fern swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Chomley scores with a one two! Fern had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Chomley shoots in and bounces Fern off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Fern has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Chomley can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close second round but I would say that Melvin Pham will probably get the nod.
