The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryan thows a body kick. Tamonta tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Tamonta is looking to slow Ryan down with leg kicks.

Tamonta feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Tamonta works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Tamonta is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Tamonta seems to be working for a kimura but Ryan defends the submission attempt.

Tamonta quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Ryan has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Tamonta celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
