A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Strongback gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

He's trying desperately to grab hold of Strongback around the waist but Strongback pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Weed Kush told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Assis is looking for a sweep. Kush is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Assis manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Kush fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Assis lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Assis! Kush is out on his feet! Assis rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Kush is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Kush is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
