The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bricis takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Bricis jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Bricis throws a lazy right hand but Nolan sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Nolan throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

It looks like Viktors Bricis has been cut.
Nolan tests Bricis's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Bricis stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

It looks like Christian Nolan has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bricis tried to score with a low kick but Nolan checks it.
Bricis misses with a leg kick
and Nolan counters with a nice body kick.
Bricis throws a looping overhand right but Nolan ducks down to avoid it.
A right-left combo lands from Nolan.
Bricis throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bricis uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Nolan.
Nolan blocks a jab.
A big right from Bricis misses.
Bricis takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Nolan moves away from the strike by Bricis.
Bricis shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Nolan tries to land a front kick but Bricis steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Bricis looks to land a right hand but Nolan moved out of range.

and Nolan cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Bricis throws a leg kick but Nolan sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Nolan keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Bricis.
Viktors Bricis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nolan takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Nolan lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

and Nolan counters with a solid body kick.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nolan dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Nolan fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Nolan feints and then cracks Bricis's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bricis down.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Nolan, right into the meat.
A left and a right from Nolan both land. Nice combination.
Nolan pounces like a tiger and cracks Bricis with a vicious hook! Bricis is down but not out! Nolan follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Christian Nolan!
