The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Von Prawn lands the left hand.
Von Prawn shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Thomas defends it nicely.

Thomas feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Von Prawn throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Thomas escapes and throws Von Prawn's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Thomas has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Von Prawn is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Thomas yanks on the arm and Von Prawn is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Thomas.
