The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A solid leg kick lands there for Tecocol.
Tecocol scores with a kick to the midsection.
Tsuki wants to clinch up but Tecocol keeps it at a distance.
Tecocol scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

Tsuki gets a double leg takedown into Tecocol's guard.
Tecocol is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Tsuki throws a big right hand that misses.
Tsuki trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Tsuki accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Tsuki cracks Tecocol with a solid left hand.
Tecocol knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tsuki on the ground.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tsuki stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tecocol swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Tsuki throws an elbow that misses. Tecocol uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Tsuki's guard. Nice move by Tecocol!

Tsuki working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tecocol doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tecocol manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Tsuki has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Tecocol can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Tecocol is taking a breather. Tsuki says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Tsuki on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Tecocol stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Tecocol wants it to stay on the feet.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Tsuki's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Rama kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Rap Music. Hari Rama could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Emerson Montain's chin.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ezra Ray.
