The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Deushe. No joy for Roscrow on that attempt.
Roscrow tries to land a front kick but Deushe steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Roscrow lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Deushe circles away quickly and effectively.
Roscrow fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Deushe on the side of the head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Roscrow gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Deushe throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Deushe has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Roscrow has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Deushe can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Deushe prevents Roscrow from getting back to his feet.

Deushe throws an elbow that misses. Roscrow uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Deushe's guard. Nice move by Roscrow!
Roscrow is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

and Deushe counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Roscrow bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Deushe's guard.
Roscrow is stalling in the full guard.
It looks like Roscrow might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Shane Roscrow hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Roscrow lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Roscrow drops Deushe with a left right combo! Roscrow follows him down to the ground into side control.

Oh Deushe is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Bright has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Bright and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Marsh drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Marsh as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Riddick screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Marsh ! Nice submission victory there!
