Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Larry Von Prawn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Farofa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Well Allen has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Travis uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Popov.

Travis throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Popov colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Travis as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Popov is left battered and dazed whilst Travis and his camp cheer!

Smith shoots in and bounces Rodrigo off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Smith postures up and lands a big shot to Rodrigo's brow.
Rodrigo can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Smith controls the pace.
Smith is pushing down on Rodrigo's leg trying to pass to half guard. Rodrigo is fighting to maintain full guard but Smith has managed to sneak the leg through.

Dan Smith decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
