The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dawg forces Rezo back against the cage and clinches.

It looks like Axe Rezo has been cut.

Dawg lands with an uppercut that bounces Rezo off the cage and back into range.

Rezo closes the distance and clinches up with Dawg, looking for a takedown. Rezo pushes Dawg against the cage but Dawg circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Dawg keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Dawg jabs Rezo to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Dawg wants to break free but Rezo has control.

Dawg breaks from the clinch.
Rezo's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Dawg connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Rezo scrambles back to his feet.
Dawg throws a sloppy head kick and Rezo moves out of range easily.
Dawg bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Rezo enables Dawg to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Rezo manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Rezo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dawg. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dogu throws a jab but it's blocked by Hartlock.
