The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murphy throws a head kick that Stout semi-blocks.
Murphy shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Stout eats them both and turns towards Murphy to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Murphy shoots in for a double leg but Stout sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Murphy is trying hard to land a takedown here. Stout sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Stout changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Murphy tries to avoid it but Stout manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Murphy to the ground. Murphy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Stout on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hasan Husin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tapo Naga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tapo Naga struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 136.5lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yap throws a right and a left that both miss.
No luck for Jarrah with that takedown attempt.
Yap throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Yap throws a nice head kick!

It looks like Sayid Jarrah has been cut.
Jarrah misses with a takedown attempt - Yap sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Jarrah changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Yap looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Bertoto fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Costa avoids it really well and circles away.

so Bertoto counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Valerio Bertoto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of JB Costa.

Costa has his foot on Bertoto's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bertoto works his way back into a safe position though.

Costa escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bertoto gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Bertoto drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bertoto jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Costa has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Bertoto is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Costa.

Bertoto lands a decent elbow from side control.
Bertoto has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Bertoto will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Bertoto has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Costa's face.
